The Number Groups

After calculating the winning frequency of each lotto number, the results were grouped as follows: 1s, 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s to find out which group produces more winning numbers. Here’s how the numbers were grouped.
  • Group 1s (G1s) comprises the lotto numbers 01-09
  • Group 10s (G10s), lotto numbers 10-19
  • Group 20s (G20s), lotto numbers 20-29
  • Group 30s (G30s), lotto numbers 30-39
  • Group 40s (G40s), lotto numbers 40-49
  • Group 50s (G50s), lotto numbers 50-58

The Probability Data Per Group

The following table shows that the 10s are the most popular while the 50s are the least popular; not exactly the least for the reason that there are only 9 numbers in that set of 50s; compared to others which have 10.

Overall, however, we can deduce that each group has a fair share of popularity. Look at the pie chart that follows. You can see that each group’s winning popularity is almost equal to the others. So, no matter which group you pick, your numbers are good.

Does this mean that it is good to pick a number from each group? What about picking 2 numbers from each group; how would they fare? Let’s explore more.

Probability Per Group Per Position

By arranging each lotto result numerically from the smallest to the largest number, we would be able to see a more informative probability data.
The table ⎯ Probability Per Group in the Ordinal Position ⎯ reveals how the group of numbers are doing in terms of frequency of winning. The figures are in percentages (%). Analysis of the data are explained in the next paragraphs.

Group Ones 01 - 09 (G1s)

The lotto numbers 01 - 09 ~
  • Are best in the 1st position (70.5%), which means they should be your smallest number in your combination. For example, 07 • 11 • 17 • 37 • 49 • 56 (15 Jun 18 result).
  • To increase your odds, play one more combination wherein your 1st and 2nd numbers are in the range 01 - 09. Example: 05 • 08 • 17 • 22 • 48 • 54 (10 Jun 18 result)

Group Tens 10 - 19 (G10s)

The lotto numbers 10 to 19 ~
  • Are best in the 2nd position (41.5%), which means they should be your 2nd smallest number. For example, 09 • 18 • 28 • 48 • 53 • 57 (12 Jun 18 result).
