Lotto Tip# 4 - Lower and Upper Limits

Lower limits are the lowest numbers ever drawn drawn together. Upper limits are the highest numbers ever drawn. The significance of the lower and upper limits is that your 6-number lotto combination should not be less than the lower limits and should not be greater than the higher limits. The upper and lower limits for the following lotto games are:
  • Lotto 642 - Lower limit 1-2-3-4-8-10
  • Lotto 642 - Upper limit 26-33-38-40-41-42
  • Mega 645 - Lower limit 1-2-3-6-9-16
  • Mega 645 - Upper limit 31-37-39-43-44-45
  • Super 649 - Lower limit 1-2-4-8-10-18
  • Super 649 - Upper limit 33-39-41-47-48-49
  • All games - Lower limit 1-2-3-4-8-10
  • All games - Upper limit 33-39-41-47-48-49
Lower and upper limits change as the population of samples (jackpot results) increase its size.

Understanding the Bounds How to use the above data? In Lotto 642, it suggests that your 6-number combination should be between the lower limits and the upper limits. For example, don't bet yet on 1-2-3-4-5-6 because statistics says that your numbers should be greater than 1-2-3-4-8-10. You can try, however, 1-2-3-5-9-11, for example.  On the other hand, your numbers should not be greater than 26-33-38-40-41-42. That means, waging on 27-34-40-41-42 is not advisable. Same rule applies for Mega645 and Super649.

To narrow down your choices of combinations, you may opt to increase or decrease the lower and upper limits in such a way you consider only the 90% with high probability.
