The ranking above is based on lotto results from 1998 onwards where each lotto number is ranked according to its frequency of hits (win). The purpose of eliminating the 1997 data is to find out how consistent the winning numbers are. So far, the seven hottest numbers remain the same.

The numbers above were consistently in the top 21 (most frequently drawn numbers) regardless of the size of sample data.
