What if five of your numbers range from 1 to 9?
The probability is 0.05%.
What about if four of your numbers range from 1 to 9?
The probability is 0.94%.
What if three of your numbers range from 1 to 9?
The probability is 7.12%
Two numbers?
The probability is 26.89%. Now that's increasing.
What about one number?
The probability is 40.88%. Now that looks like you should only pick one number from 1 to 9 and the rest should be greater than 9.
What if I don't use any (none) number from 1 to 9?
Well, the probability is 24.11%.
Let's add 40.88%, 26.89%, and 24.11%. The result is 91.88%. That's a better figure. So, that means, your favorite lotto numbers should contain only, at most 2 numbers from 1 to 9, the least is one, or none at all; but never 3, 4, 5, or 6.
