Frequency Distribution of Lotto 6/49, 6/45, and 6/42 Numbers

Observations
  1. The rate of frequency of each lotto number ranges from 1.68% to 2.68% depending on the lotto game. Lotto 6/42 has the least variance. Frequency ranges from 2.12% to 2.68%. This means that the numbers 1 to 42 are fairly distributed; in other words, no single number is more frequently drawn than any number. 
  2. Though the other two games resulted to a greater variance between the highest and lowest distribution compared to Lotto 6/42, the difference cannot be considered significant. This also means that each lotto number, whether from 6/45 or 6/49, can be drawn fairly frequently as the other numbers.
  3. By looking at the quantity instead of the percentage, we see a different picture. For example, 32 has been drawn 267 times in Lotto 6/45. That's 61 greater than the lotto number 1, the lowest. A number being drawn 61 times greater than any number still makes it a better number because that's 61 times  greater chances.
