Lotto 6/42 Hot Pairs

This matrix shows which pair has the most number of hits. The top rows and the numbers in the first column represent the lotto numbers from 1 to 42. The number where two numbers intersect refers to the number of hits (or frequency).

How to use the spreadsheet

Here's an example on how you can combine 6 lotto numbers out of 42 numbers based on the matrix above.
  1. Pick a favorite number. If you want, you can pick the one with the most number of hits. Let's pick 3, for example.
  2. From 3 across to 3 down, pick the one with the most number of hits. The corresponding lotto number is your second number. That will be 6.
  3. Based on your second number, i.e., from 6 across to 6 down, pick the one with the most number of hits. The corresponding lotto number will be your third number.
  4. Repeat the same procedure until you have combined 6 numbers.
There are many ways you can use the matrix. You can devise your own rules. A simple method will be to pick the 5 highest hits for each number.

How To Use the Matrix in Your Local Lotto

If you want to use the matrix in your respective state lotto or country, what you can do is to keep track of the daily results. By using color coding, highlight the hits that correspond to a pair. This way you can study or observe how the numbers in your country or state are behaving.

Enjoy and good luck and stay positive!

Frequency Distribution of Lotto 6/49, 6/45, and 6/42 Numbers

  1. The rate of frequency of each lotto number ranges from 1.68% to 2.68% depending on the lotto game. Lotto 6/42 has the least variance. Frequency ranges from 2.12% to 2.68%. This means that the numbers 1 to 42 are fairly distributed; in other words, no single number is more frequently drawn than any number.
  2. Though the other two games resulted to a greater variance between the highest and lowest distribution compared to Lotto 6/42, the difference cannot be considered significant. This also means that each lotto number, whether from 6/45 or 6/49, can be drawn fairly frequently as the other numbers.
  3. By looking at the quantity instead of the percentage, we see a different picture. For example, 32 has been drawn 267 times in Lotto 6/45. That's 61 greater than the lotto number 1, the lowest. A number being drawn 61 times greater than any number still makes it a better number because that's 61 times  greater chances.

Hits means the frequency or the number of times the number made it to a drawn result.

Recur. Recurrence means how busy the number is. It is the average number of draws between two draws where the same number was drawn. For example, if the recurrence is 5, it means that the number recurs, on an average, every other 5 draws.

Probable Next Hit means the probable date when the number might be drawn again calculated based on the recurrence data. This date is not accurate. It only gives a suggestion that the number may come out soon or how overdue it is.
